channelbuyers.com is operated by Lychee Mediaworks Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202429450H). For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, Lychee Mediaworks Pte Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

2. Data we collect

Information you provide directly:

Your email address and any answers you submit through the risk assessment or other forms on this site.
Information you send us by email, including the content of your message.
Account and billing details when you purchase a product. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider and are never received or stored by us.

Information collected automatically when you visit:

IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type, device type, and operating system.
Pages viewed, time spent, referring website, and the search terms or advertisement that brought you here.
Cookie and similar identifiers, as described in section 5.

3. Why we use it

To deliver what you asked for — returning your assessment result, providing access to a purchased product, and responding to your enquiries.
To send you material you signed up for — educational emails and product information, until you unsubscribe.
To understand how the site is used — aggregate analytics that tell us which pages are read and where visitors arrive from.
To measure and improve advertising — understanding which campaigns lead to sign-ups, where you have consented to this.
To meet legal and accounting obligations — retaining transaction records as required by law.

Performance of a contract — for processing purchases and providing access to products you have bought.

8. How long we keep it

Marketing contact data: until you unsubscribe, then for a short period to honour your opt-out.
Assessment responses: up to 24 months from submission.
Customer and transaction records: as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically five years.
Analytics data: in aggregate or pseudonymised form, up to 26 months.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.

California residents may additionally request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and may opt out of any sharing that constitutes a sale under applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

10. Email communications

Marketing emails are sent only to people who have asked to receive them. Every message includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly. Transactional messages relating to a purchase are sent regardless of marketing preferences.

11. Security

We use encrypted connections, restrict access to personal data to those who need it, and select providers who maintain recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

12. Children

This site and its products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact legal@channelbuyers.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified by email where we hold your address.
